Founded in Chicago in 1950, GOOD DESIGN is the oldest and the most prestigious Awards Program organized worldwide.
In 2012 Subwing received the Award for Design Excellence by the Norwegian design Council.
The Award for Design Excellence is a leading award for design in Norway and is given to both manufacturers and designers who have cooperated on the development of products.
The award is granted in recognition of the successful use of design as a strategic tool in product development and market communication.
Early 2014 Subwing was a nominee alongside highly renowned companies to be honured the highly prestigious German Design Award.
Subwing won a Special Mention recognition which is regarded as an extra International recognition, cementing both the designer and company’s status as exponents of design of the highest caliber.
